Maize & Blue Healthy U Wellness Event

On Thursday, April 23rd, Project Healthy Schools and U-M Athletics co-hosted the 2nd annual Maize & Blue Healthy U at the University of Michigan Football Stadium. 337 students from four PHS schools attended the wellness event. Over the course of two hours, students participated in 7 different rotating wellness stations, led by U-M student athletes, focusing on physical activity and social-emotional wellness. We enjoyed welcoming the following PHS schools to the University of Michigan campus: Saline Middle School, University Prep Art & Design, University Prep Science & Math, and University Prep Academy. You can view the video highlight of the day HERE.

We would like to graciously thank the following partners for making this year’s event a huge success: MHealthy, U-M Adaptive Sports & Fitness, U-M InPACT, Meijer, United Dairy Industry of Michigan, and Therapaws of Michigan. We hope to welcome more PHS schools to the U-M campus next year!

There are no fans in the stands since this was a private event, so you can see the big block M graphic in the stands.
