Michigan-grown apples are delicious! Project Healthy Schools recently hosted an apple tasting event in collaboration with the Michigan Apple Committee at Avondale Middle School in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Students were able to taste test three different varieties of Michigan-grown apples during their lunch hour. It was a fun and exciting day expanding our students’ palettes while promoting locally-grown produce. Please watch this video which showcases the day in action at Avondale!
